Bio

Eric Henderson has been has been Head Coach of the Apaches since the 2020 season and has been with the Tyler softball program since the fall of 2017, when he was an assistant coach.  Before coming to Tyler, he was at Weatherford College where he spent three plus years as the volunteer assistant coach.  While at Weatherford he helped coached many All-Conference and All-Region players as well as a NJCAA Region 5 Conference Championship team in the 2017 season.  Here in Apacheland, Henderson has been the part of two NJCAA National Tournament appearances and has never missed a NJCAA Region XIV Tournament.

Coach Henderson baseball career started at Cisco College and finished at West Texas A&M.  While at West Texas A&M he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Education.

He is from San Antonio, Texas where he attended Madison High School.
