Former Apache wins 2019 NPSL Members Cup

Former Apache Yazeed Matthews (2015-16) now playing for Detroit City FC scored the winning goal in the 67th minute to clinch the NPSL Memory Cup against the Michigan Stars. Detroit finished of the season in style by winnig the cup along with completing a 23 game unbeaten streak.

Matthews from Johannesburg, South Africa played for the Apaches in 2015 & 16, winning the NJCAA National Tournament in 2016, accumalating 36 goals in 2 seasons along with NSCAA (United Soccer Coaches) National Player Of The Year 2016.
