#3 Apache Women's Tennis get big wins over the weekend

Apache Women's Tennis had a great weekend!  They beat Collin College (#9 in the nation) 7-2, Weatherford College (#5 in the nation) 6-3, and Saint Petersburg College (#4 in the nation) 6-3.  Amelia Devlin went 3-0 at line 3 and 4 singles. Natalia Michta went 2-0 at line 2 and Beyza Yaniklar went 2-0 at line 5. Apaches ended the weekend going to North Texas to play UTSA and lost 7-0, but had some good results with Michta losing 7-5 7-6 (6) at line 2 and Candy Wai losing 6-4 4-6 10-3 at line 3. 

Next week the men and women tennis teams will host several nationally ranked teams at the Murphy Tennis Center.  Men will host the #1, #3, #4,#6, and #12 teams in the nation.  The women will host the #1, #9, #12, and #24 teams in the nation. Play in theTyler Spring Break Invite goes from March 10-13.
