PARIS — Four Apache Ladies hit in double figures, led by KeleChi Dike and Shalayne Morgan with 16 points apiece, as Tyler Junior College scored an 88-62 victory over Paris Junior College on Wednesday in a Region XIV women's basketball game.

The win moves TJC to 15-11 on the season and 6-6 in conference. Paris falls to 7-18 and 3-8.

Tyler avenged a 68-62 loss to the Lady Dragons on Jan. 20 in Tyler.

Kiana Bennett added 15 points for the Apache Ladies and Kamora Jackson connected for 14 points.

Others scoring for TJC were Lillian Jackson (7), Grace Ezebilo (7), Naomi Wilson (6), Fenishka Bertho (4) and Scejeonna Jones (3).

Kamora Jackson hit four 3-pointers.

Ezebilo had 10 rebounds with Bennett adding nine.

Dike had five assists with four each from Bennett and Amari Welch.

Madison Walters led Paris with 15 points, followed by Azariah Bryant (12) and Zachareia Sommers (10).

The Lady Dragons hit three 3-pointers — one each by Zacyria Dozier, Hope Burks and Walters.

The Apache Ladies were 22 of 30 from the free throw line. The Lady Dragons were 13 of 18.

TJC returns to play on Saturday, hosting Angelina College at 2 p.m. at Wagstaff Gymnasium.

In other women's games: Blinn 80, Angelina 75; Trinity Valley 104, Coastal Bend 38; and Panola 78, Jacksonville 59.

On Friday, Coastal Bend plays at San Antonio College in a non-conference game at 4 p.m.

Games on Saturday include: Panola (13-11, 6-5) at Trinity Valley (19-5, 9-3), 2 p.m.; Kilgore (15-10, 8-3) at Paris (7-18, 3-8), 2 p.m.; Coastal Bend (7-17, 3-8) at Blinn (18-8, 8-4), 2 p.m.; and Dallas College-Cedar Valley at Jacksonville (2-21, 0-12), 2 p.m.
