Angelina tops Apache Ladies on the road

LUFKIN — The Tyler Junior College Apache Ladies dropped a 72-57 decision to the Angelina College Lady Roadrunners on Wednesday in a Region XIV women's basketball conference game at Shands Gym.
Grace Ezebilo led the Apache Ladies with a double double — 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Others scoring for TJC were Kiana Bennett (10), KeleChi Dike (9), Alexandria Jefferson (6), Fenishka Bertho (6) and Amyia Bowie (3).
Amyria Walker led the Lady Roadrunners with 24 points. Also scoring for Angelina were India McMahon (16), Jade Fry (11), Janay Quinn (7), Marie Kenembeni (6), Shanice Ferguson (5) and Alicia Rivera-Scott (3).
Other results on Wednesday were: Kilgore 72, Paris 52; Trinity Valley 69, Panola 56; and Blinn 77, Coastal Bend 41. On Monday, Coastal Bend defeated Jacksonville, 60-51.
