Former Apache Savage signs with Oregon
Former Tyler Apache standout Kobe Savage signed with the Oregon Ducks.
Former Tyler Junior College/Paris High School standout Kobe Savage announced that he will play at Oregon. For Savage, he played two years at Kansas State following his time at TJC.
In 2022 at Kansas State, Savage started 10 games at strong safety before suffering an injury. He tied for fourth on the Wildcats with 58 tackles and earned All-Big 12 honors. He also had three interceptions, three tackles for loss and a forced fumble. This season, Savage had three interceptions to go along with 57 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss.
Kansas State went 8-4 this season.
Savage now joins an Oregon program that is 11-2 this season and will enter the Big Ten next season.
