Men's soccer plays for National Championship today

Tyler Junior College plays for its seventh NJCAA national soccer championship when the Apaches (18-2-1) meet Monroe College (New York) on Saturday in Wichita, Kansas. The title match is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Stryker Sports Complex. It will be broadcast on ESPN+.

TJC, seeded No. 7, advanced to finals with a 4-3 win over top seed Arizona Western on Thursday.  The Mustangs, seeded No. 4, won the other match in a shootout with No. 3 Salt Lake (Utah), 3-2. The teams were scoreless through regulation and two overtime periods.
