Men's soccer earns bid to National tourney

The Apache men's soccer team learned that their season will continue on Tuesday as the NJCAA announced the 12 teams that will compete in the 2023 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship tournament.  The NJCAA posted a Men's Soccer Tournament release show:  https://youtu.be/HUCshRksnCo

The men's team from Tyler earned a #7 seed and will play in Pool B.  Their pool includes Eastern Florida State College(15-1)  and Murray State from Oklahoma (13-4-1).  Fellow Region 14 team, Angelina, also earned a spot in the tournament and if both teams advance, they would meet in the National Semi-finals.  

The Apaches enter the tournament at 15-2-1 and are #1 in shutouts with 11 and #4 in goals scored with 78 for the season.  

Pool play begins on November 12 in Wichita, Kansas at the Stryker Sports Complex.
