#3 Apaches fall to #13 Hill in District Final 3-2

The #3 Tyler Apache women's soccer team lost their first match of the season to #13 Hill College on Friday in Fort Worth 3-2 in the NJCAA South Central District Championship.  The back and forth battle was a physical one that saw a number of delays for players down due to injuries.  The loss was the only setback of the season for the Apaches and dropped their season record to 16-1-2.  The win for Hill (12-2-2), was their seventh in a row and avenges a 4-0 loss to the Apaches on August 29th in Tyler, and earns an automatic bid to the National Tournament in Wichita, Kansas.  The Apaches will wait to learn if their strong showing all season was enough to earn one of the at-large bids to the NJCAA National tourney.
