#6 Apaches outlast #4 LSU-Eunice 2-0

The #6 Tyler Apache Men's soccer team earned a hard fought 2-0 win over the #4 LSU-Eunice Bengals on Wednesday night at Pat Hartley Field.  Goals were hard to come by for both teams, but freshman forward Ato Smith JR scored early at 7:00 minute mark in period one and freshman defender Diego Ruiz scored in the 83rd minute to seal the win for the Apaches.  Next up is a trip to Region 14 opponent Angelina in the NJCAA Gulf South District Championship on Friday night in Lufkin.
