Apaches power past Angelina, 8-1, into District Final

 The Tyler Apache Women's soccer team put a solid two halves together on a cold, rainy and windy Sunday in defeating the Angelina Roadrunners 8-1.  The Apaches were led by Adizatu Mustapha who scored in both the first and second period.  Also scoring for Tyler was Avery Green, Marin Love, Miki Hayashi, Kyleigh D'Spain, Riley Massey, and Gabrielle Thompson.  Next up for the Apaches is a playoff matchup with Region 14 rival Navarro on Tuesday at Hartley Field on the campus of Tyler Junior College.
