#6 Apaches roll into NJCAA playoffs with 6-1 win at NE TX

Freshman forward, Ato Smith JR helped TJC Men's soccer to a convincing 6-1 victory over NE TX in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday afternoon by scoring two goals and getting one assist.  The freshman forward leads the team with 14 goals and 31 points on the season.  The #6 Apaches finish their regular season schedule with a record of 13-1-1 overall, 9-1-1 in Region 14 play.  Freshman forward Hagan Cupido also scored twice for Tyler, who won their eighth match in a row.  The Apaches finish the regular season in first place in Region 14 North Division.  Next up are the NJCAA playoffs and a match with Jacksonville College at 6 pm in Tyler at Harley Field.
