Green's hat trick helps #3 Apaches steam roll NE TX 14-0

Freshman forward Avery Green scored 3 goals in a lopsided victory in the final regular season match for the #3 Apache women's soccer team in Mount Pleasant Tuesday.  Also having notable performances were sophomore midfielder Camille Marlin with 2 goals and 4 assists and freshman forward Jacie Meredith with two goals and one assist.  Tyler(14-0-2/11-0-2)) finishes their regular season in first place of Region 14 North Division.  Next up for the Apaches are the NJCAA playoffs this weekend.  The first opponent in the postseason will be this same NE TX(0-13/0-12) team in a match this Friday at Hartley Field on the campus of Tyler Junior College at 1 pm.
