#3 Apaches race away from Dragons in home win

Six different Apaches scored in a 6-1 win over the Paris Dragons on Tuesday night at Hartley Field on the TJC campus.  Freshman forward Avery Green, sophomore midfielder Nagi Higashi, and sophomore forward Carmen Garcia all scored in the first half.  Goals in the second period came from freshman midfielder Miki Hayashi, freshman midfielder Sam Roddenhof, and freshman forward Gabrielle Thompson.  Head Coach Corey Rose was presented with a jersey commemorating his 300th win, coming earlier this season.  The win takes Tyler's record to 13-0-1 on the season and 10-0-1 in Region 14 play.  The Paris Dragons record drops to 6-7 overall and 5-6 in conference action.  Next up for the first place Apaches is a trip to Corsicana and a match with the second place #10 Bulldogs of Navarro (6-1-3) on Friday at 4 pm.
