Apaches have strong showing at ITA Nationals
Tyler Junior College tennis was well represented at the ITA Cup National tournament this past weekend with 2 men in the singles draw, 1 men's doubles team, 1 woman in the singles draw, and 1 women's doubles team.
From the men's team, sophomore Dan Persson finished 4th in the singles draw and sophomore Faiz Nasyam finished 7th in singles. Persson and Juan Carlos Garcia finished second in the doubles draw.
On the women's side, freshman Candy Wai finished 4th in the singles draw and Wai and sophomore Zoi Spyrou finished 3rd in the doubles draw.
This years cup was hosted at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.
