Wagstaff Gymnasium

Built in 1964 and named in honor of Coach Floyd Wagstaff for his foundational contributions to TJC athletics, Wagstaff Gym has undergone significant upgrades to enhance its facilities. Renovations in 2004 expanded seating capacity to 2,500 and refreshed the bleachers, while 2010 improvements included an upgrade and expansion of the front offices and the men’s and women’s wings at the back of the gym.

Wagstaff Gym is the primary venue for TJC varsity men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball practices and games. It also houses the main Athletic Training Room, the Wagstaff Museum, and serves as a venue for TJC graduations. Additionally, the gym hosts high school basketball and volleyball exhibitions and playoff games, as well as NJCAA Region XIV basketball and volleyball tournaments, along with other large-scale events sponsored by TJC.

JoAnn Medlock Murphy Tennis Center

1006 S Palmer Ave, Tyler, TX 75701

Built in 2007, the facility has earned the prestigious USTA Outstanding Facility Award. It serves as the primary venue for TJC Men's and Women's tennis practices and matches, and is also an instructional hub for the Professional Tennis Management program.

In addition to supporting TJC's tennis programs, the facility hosts high school tennis exhibitions and playoff matches. It is a premier venue for USTA/ITA sanctioned events, as well as NJCAA Regional and National Tennis Tournaments. The complex also accommodates large-scale events sponsored by TJC.

Pat Hartley Field Complex

The Pat Hartley Athletic Complex is a premier destination for sports and community events. Originally designed to accommodate two regulation-sized grass soccer fields, the complex underwent a major renovation in 2010. This upgrade transformed the West side grass field into a versatile turf field, expertly striped for both football and soccer.

The facility features dedicated offices and locker rooms for TJC Men's and Women's soccer programs, along with a public walking track. While the playing surfaces are primarily reserved for football practices, as well as men’s and women’s soccer practices and games, they also serve as a host for high school soccer exhibitions and playoff games. Additionally, the complex is proud to host NJCAA Regional, District, and National Soccer Tournaments, as well as other large-scale events sponsored by TJC.

CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Mike Carter Field

Built in 1938 as part of the Works Progress Administration Project, CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Mike Carter Field has a rich history, including renovations in 1948 following a fire and another in 1991 with the establishment of the Tyler Baseball Commission. The facility has hosted several minor league and professional baseball teams over the years.

TJC baseball began practicing and playing at this historic field with the rejuvenation of the program in 1992. The Tyler Independent School District acquired the facility from the City of Tyler in 1998. Today, it serves as a key venue for high school baseball exhibitions and playoff games coordinated through Tyler ISD Athletics, as well as NJCAA Regional, District, and National Tournaments.
