Tyler, TX- The Apaches triumphed in their Tuesday night showdown against Wharton County Junior College, winning decisively with a score of 3 sets to 1 (25-12, 25-23, 25-15, 25-20).
Standout performances from the team included Katie Funk, who achieved an impressive 62.5% kill percentage. Calee Carter and McKenna Faris also had stellar nights, contributing significantly with 13 and 14 kills, respectively. Faris was particularly remarkable, finishing the match with 16.5 points.
Defensively, the Apaches showcased their skills, with Nixon leading the way with 10 digs, supported by Pyle and Walker with 5 and 4 digs each.
