Bio

Jacob Clark was born and raised in Southeast Texas, growing up in the Lufkin and Jasper areas. He graduated from Jasper High School in 2012 before beginning his collegiate baseball career at Angelina College and Cedar Valley College. After earning his Associate of Arts degree from Angelina College in 2014, Clark continued his playing career at the University of Texas at Tyler, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Athletic Training at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2018.

Clark began his professional career as Head Athletic Trainer at Peak Performance Physical Therapy and Parkview Baptist High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, working with all sports programs during the 2018–2019 school year. From 2019 to 2021, he served as Head Athletic Trainer at Cisco College, covering all sports. He then transitioned to UT Health East Texas, where he worked with the University of Texas at Tyler’s men’s basketball and women’s golf teams from 2021 to 2022.

In 2022, Clark joined Christus Trinity Mother Frances and Tyler Junior College, where he currently serves as an Athletic Trainer, working with the football and softball programs.
